Siemens (BSH Group)
The requirements
Part of the BSH Group, and with headquarters in Zaragoza, the Siemens home appliances division is one of the main companies in its market of, standing out especially for its quality and constant innovation.
A perfect example of the latter is its continuous surface induction hobs, equipped with a touch control panel.
Regarding their freeInduction model, they asked us to develop a series of interactive contents, that would provide both information about their unique features and a first-person experience of their use.
Our approach
In order to meet all the requirements of this project, we conceived an interactive in the form of a web application, which on the one hand allows access to the main functions of the hob through various videos and on the other offert the user to experiment at will with a simulation of the touch control.
Regarding the informative videos, they were entirely made based on animated 3D CGIs. As for the first person experience, by means of the touch control, after carrying out a complete analysis of the operation sequences allowed by that control, its main functionalities were implemented using only standard web technologies (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) through a user interface (UI) that replicated the real model.
